Dear Members and Friends, Welcome to the 250th Anniversary year of This promises to be an extraordinary year of celebration, remembering, and enjoying one another’s company in worship and community. We are privileged to have Reverend Victor Carpenter as our Interim Minister for this banner year. As you can no doubt already tell, the opening services of the year will focus on matters important to us as individuals and as a community. The 250th Celebrations Committee has been working tirelessly to organize a variety of events to help us mark this historic year. Every Sunday will highlight a 250th minute of history. There will be special services and speakers, concerts, a reunion weekend, an all-church service project as well as a most important 250th auction and all the events we have come to call our own -- Harvest Fair, Greens Sale, Winter Holidays concert and more. It is our hope and intent that there will be many things that will appeal to you and your neighbors. Invite them to join you to see and learn why FRS is so important to so many and has been for 250 years. Of course our community would not be complete without special attention to our children and our musical spirits. Our Director of Religious Education, Molly Sorrows, and our Minister of Music, Maguerite Shaw, have planned programs to engage our spirits, our children and our hearts.
